During the 2015-2016 school year, a total of 7,058 students were tested in Puerto Rico. Of the 5,533 juniors and seniors that were tested, none were tested under Option 8. The remaining juniors and seniors had their test results sent to recruiters without parental consent. The 20 largest testing sessions assessed a total of 1,009 students. 314 sessions tested 10 students or fewer.
The ASVAB test was conducted in 128 schools across the territory. The US Military Entrance Processing Command reports that no students in Puerto Rico were required to take the ASVAB, although the data may suggest otherwise.
