During the 2015-2016 school year, a total of 4,987 students were tested in Colorado. Of the 3,888 juniors and seniors that were tested, only 32.79% were tested under Option 8. The remaining juniors and seniors had their test results sent to recruiters without parental consent.
The 20 largest testing sessions assessed a total of 1,749 students. 251 sessions tested 10 students or fewer.
The ASVAB test was conducted in 210 schools across the state. The US Military Entrance Processing Command reports that no students in Colorado were required to take the ASVAB, although the data may suggest otherwise. See Colorado's database here.
